The Angel izle

"The Angel", Nasir, the son-in-law of the President of Egypt, and his successor Enver Sedat's private advisor and confidant, tells the true story of Eshref Marwan (Marwan Kenzari), who was also considered one of the most valuable informants of the Israeli secret service in the 20th century.

Adapted from Uri Bar-Joseph's book "The Angel: The Egyptian Spy Who Saved Israel," the film's screenplay is written by David Arata, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for the 2006 film "Children of Men." Dutch actor Marwan Kenzari, who appeared in the Netflix film "The Old Guard" last year, takes on the lead role in the film. The cast also includes Toby Kebbell, Hannah Ware, Maisa Abd Elhadi, Sasson Gabay, Mickey Leon, Ori Pfeffer, and Slimane Daz. The film is directed by Israeli filmmaker Ariel Vromen, known for his films "The Iceman" (2012) and "Criminal" (2016).
