Miss Bala, a young woman who witnesses a murder, depicts the experiences of a young woman trying to recover after the death of her family. Gloria Meyer is a young woman trying to clear her head during the mourning period, and she takes a trip from Los Angeles to Tijuana with a friend. However, what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turns into a nightmare when they witness a murder. The young crime boss, who wants to keep them silent, kidnaps Gloria's friend and forces Gloria to work for him. But the crime boss is not the only one who has caught Gloria's attention. The Drug Enforcement Agency also notices Gloria. Now, Gloria is a mole inside a ruthless crime organization. In the midst of the cat-and-mouse game between the CIA, DEA, and dangerous crime boss Lino, the young woman finds a power she didn't know she possessed when she is drawn into the dangerous world of transnational crime. She must now use all her cunning, creativity, and strength to survive.
